Named after the river it borders, GOMOTI PLAINS CAMP lies alongside one of the smaller of the water system’s flood plains. Framed by towering palm trees, our iconic canvas tents provide eco-luxurious comfort in an area that is alive with superb land and water-based game-viewing opportunities. Gomoti is alive with diversity and the chance to spot big plains game, wild dog’s dens, large prides of Lions, big herds of buffalo and recent sightings of leopards and cheetah. It’s a beauty of a scale that is hard to imagine. The guest can explore all this while taking a water based safari by motorised boat or in a traditionally shaped mokoro (canoe) offers up a completely different world. Based at water level you will see creatures and details that would otherwise miss from the land.

Situated on the edge of the Gomoti river system in the Okavango Delta is Gomoti Plains Camp. This new camp has 10 luxury tents which include 2 luxury family tents and 8 luxury double tents, all with en-suite bathroom facilities. It is part of the Machaba Camp, Classic Safaris Botswana and one of the few safari camps that allow children.
